Remember Shannon Mattern?

I mentioned her briefly during Wednesday's live webinar (get the recording here if you missed it), but I wanted to show you a few of the deeper details behind her online course business's success...

Shannon is an online course creator who helps entrepreneurs and bloggers build DIY websites to market their businesses.

In the early days, this was all a side business. But Shannon hustled her way to replacing her 9-to-5 income and had gone full-time with her business by 2017.

The challenge? She was working 80-hour weeks and felt like she'd plateaued. Even though she'd been able to leave her day job behind, she was still operating paycheck to paycheck and constantly having to obsess over work.

For two years, Shannon tried every marketing strategy under the sun, with little success. All that supposed "freedom" that comes with being your own boss was nowhere in sight.

VAs often have a ton of questions about web design, but Kathy didn't have any resources or experts to turn to for information.

So Shannon hosted an hour-long training on web design for Kathy's audience:

In the weeks following the training, Shannon generated over 20k in revenue from leads who attended it and discovered her business.

And that was from just ONE of the many partnerships Shannon stacked up thanks to the plan we laid out for her in our coaching program.

Partnerships were the driving force that fueled her 100k start to 2020 and allowed her to finally unlock the freedom she'd wanted in her business.

The best part? To Shannon, executing partnerships doesn't even feel like sales or marketing.

"I just get to show up, do what I love doing, and not 'sell,'" she said. "All I have to do is say 'Hey, if you want to learn more, go here,' and send them to my funnel. It's way more fun than just selling all the time."
