I'll never forget the moment I wanted to quit product launches forever.

It was the biggest online course launch I'd ever done. Months of planning. Studying every other launch I could find. Reverse engineering all the strategies. Learning copywriting on the fly.

I'd spent tons of late nights making sure everything was in place to maximize the "open cart" window:

  • Epic pre-launch content
  • 5,000+ word email sequence
  • 5,000+ word long form sales page
  • Getting all the tech set up (shopping cart, payment processor, etc.)

So when I'd brought in $80k in sales midway through the launch, I was pretty dang excited! Until I logged into our payment processor.

Every last dollar was gone. Poof. Disappeared.

What's the best way to tell nearly 100 customers you need them to pay you again? LOL—like that would go over well.

In my mind, the money was gone forever. So when it all turned out to just be a glitch and the money was still there, the damage to my psyche was already done.

The stress of the planning + nearly losing 80 grand had me ready to quit launches for good.

So did I? Of course not!

At the time, I thought the classic high-stress launch was the only option if you wanted to grow an online business beyond six figures.

I didn't just do another one—I did at least 5 more, and each time something crazy happened:

  • "Cart closing" emails got stuck in our email software and sent 12 hours too late
  • Funds got frozen in our merchant accounts
  • Our website crashed—meaning we lost an entire day's worth of sales

It wasn't until I added a high-ticket offer to my business that I finally realized there was an easier way to scale.

Not only did it quadruple my revenue...it was also just exponentially easier to sell.

I didn't have to spend weeks trying to channel my inner copywriting genius and write a 5,000-word sales page.

I didn't have to create a 15-email sales sequence with expiring bonuses, upsells, and downsells.

I didn't have to pin all my hopes for the year on the outcome of a single 10-day launch window.

Here's how my first high-ticket sale went:

  • I exchanged a few conversational emails with the prospect
  • We hopped on a 45-minute phone call to explore working together
  • He bought a $10k coaching package during the call

*mindblown*

This is why I laugh when people tell me they're not skilled enough to sell a high-ticket offer.

"But I suck at sales!! How will I convince someone to buy something for $10k?"

Here's the reality:

Selling a high-ticket product to 10 people in a month takes a fraction of the "sales skill" required to sell an average-priced online course to 100 people during a launch.

In fact, the framework we use for talking to high-ticket prospects is so simple it fits on one page:

  • You ask 4 simple questions to get a feel for your prospect's goals and challenges

  • You share your framework (this is essentially just teaching/coaching them)

  • You tell them what your offer is

When done properly, it's closer to a coaching call than what you probably imagine as a "sales call."

I loved the way one of our clients, Michael DeLon from Paperback Expert, described selling his high-ticket offer:

"It's not even a sales call, really," he said. "It's just, 'Are we a good fit?' and 'Here's how the whole thing works.'"

Michael's high-ticket offer is priced at $20,500. Back in December, he used the step-by-step marketing plan we gave him to book calls with 9 prospects.

How many do you think bought?

One? Two?

Try five—for a total of $102,000 in sales. And four of them bought before the call was over!

No big, crazy launch. No epic sales page. No massive email sequence.

Just a conversation.

Ever done a coaching call? You can sell a high-ticket offer.

Ever hopped on Zoom with a prospective client to talk through a project? You can sell a high-ticket offer.

Ever put yourself through the stress of an online product launch? Selling a high-ticket offer is going to feel like a breath of fresh air.

In fact, one of the coaching sessions we're planning for the 15 business owners who join my High-Ticket Mastermind will give you our 1-Page Sales Script—and we'll personally help you apply it to your specific business and offer.

There are currently 7 spots remaining, and when they're gone they're gone. As a reminder, here's what you'll get when you join:

  • You and I will have a 1:1 call to kick things off and get you ready to rock

  • Over the course of 4 live, small group coaching calls, Sam Hill (our Head of Sales and the architect of our high-ticket offer) will help you create your offer and dial it in so it converts from day one

  • Sam will even give you the simple "1-pager" script that will give you exactly what to say to sell your high-ticket offer—you'll literally just need to fill in the blanks

  • My team and I will create a custom marketing plan to bring in your first (or next) 10 customers—without buying ads

  • You'll get 1:1 coaching to help you implement the plan and scale your sales to steady 5- and even 6-figure months

  • You'll have access to a private Voxer group with Sam and me, so you can get our direct feedback

We'll take a closer look at your business and then reach out to you to walk you through the full details of the program (no obligation).

This is for you if:

  • You are a consultant, coach, or course creator who would love to generate more revenue by working with fewer (and better) clients

  • You want to package your expertise around a scalable, productized offer that doesn't require you to create new content

  • You don't have the time (or desire) to become a marketing guru, and would rather follow a proven plan with constant feedback from my team

  • You want to get clients without pumping money into expensive paid advertising channels like Facebook
