Ever considered having other companies sell your product for you? Whether as resellers or as channel sales partners, it could accelerate the growth of your business tremendously. And there are plenty of companies that have done so.

Yet, more often than not, things don't work out that way. Not enough sales to justify all the effort that went into setting up a reseller program, and sometimes it even derails the trajectory of your business.
