How to structure your sales team? (The pod, the island, or the assembly line)

You're building a sales team for your company, but what's the best way of structuring it?

Most people don't think enough about the optimal way of structuring their sales organization.

There are 3 models that I believe you should examine:

  1. The island
  2. The assembly line
  3. The pod

Each of these has distinct pros and cons.

So how do you choose? It all depends on your business goals and company culture.

I'll share the details of this strategy in my latest post on the Close.io blog.

Go get'em!

PS: These 3 models work independent of which sales software you use. However, I do believe that most sales teams see drastic improvements when moving to Close. But don't take my word for it. Here's what our customers have to say about our CRM:

"Switching from Salesforce to Close was one of the best decisions we've made for the team. Our reps love Close and our sales productivity is at an all time high." - Katie Fudge, Account Executive, NatureBox
