Ever since we officially announced our rebrand from Close.io to Close, we've gotten a lot of questions about the process of acquiring the domain close.com.
  In my latest blog post I share:
    - Why it took us 5 1/2 years to acquire the com
   - Why we passed on it the first time we had the opportunity to buy it
   - Why we finally decided that it was the right move
   
  Given that it's a 5-letter one-word domain, it's obvious that this acquisition came with a significant price tag, so we found a creative way to structure a deal that didn't impact our cashflow.
